Nothing quite like a cold Japanese iced matcha latte on a summer day! Take a moment to savor this delightful, light, and refreshing treat. A perfect way to cool down and relax, letting the worries of the day drift away.
What Kind of Matcha Should I Use?
It is most ideal to select a Matcha that has a strong base with a bold taste. This is because you want it to cut through the creaminess of the milk and let the matcha flavor stand out. We recommend our NatsukoChiyo Mukashi Matcha.
Key Ingredients:
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon matcha
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup oat milk

How to Make a Matcha Latte

This matcha latte recipe is super simple. You only need three ingredients. No need for any fancy equipment. Here’s how you do it:

  1. First, start by sifting your matcha powder. It clumps easily, and the clumps can be difficult to whisk away. By sifting your matcha, it will help make your matcha latte smooth, creamy & lump-free.
  2. Add the matcha to a matcha bowl, and pour in hot, recently boiled water over it. Whisk vigorously until the matcha green tea powder is fully dispersed. Best to move your whisk in an up-and-down or side-to-side motion, in order to get your matcha to foam.
  3. Pour the warmed oat milk over the foamed matcha and whisk again to froth the milk slightly.
  4. Taste your latte and add a sweetner if you like.

Sweet & Simple! Enjoy.
