Gratitude to the internet for finding me the exact teapot I needed for my new digs. And then come to find out it was from a very venerable enterprise passed down through generations. No wonder I was entranced by it. I also value the stainless steel tea leaf strainer that I can remove and wash. I drink A LOT of sencha!

Beautiful mug and was exactly as pictured. I bought it for my mom and she loves it. I always see her drinking out of it in the afternoon :)

This authentic chawan is so beautiful! It is a full size chawan but it does feel smaller. However it does feel really nice in your hand when you whisk your matcha. The color looks like it was made with love! The red is so vibrant and it is finished with a shiny beautiful gloss that ensure that the color stays that way! And since it is red, the matcha bright green color contrasts the bowl so brightly! It feels like Christmas everytime I make matcha, how can you NOT love that? 10/10 one hundred percent recommend, all the chawan bowls I bought from here are all authentic and you can’t go wrong with them.
