Ido Chawan 井戸茶碗 also known as "well tea bowl" is the name given to a specific type of Joseon-era Korean rice bowls and pieces. They were originally made during the 16th century in Korea serving as simple bowls for food. It eventually made its way to Japan, where the tea masters made it into one of the most coveted matcha bowl styles.
