Throughout Japan's tea ceremony culture, a common purpose is to pursue the natural state of beauty. Thus you will often see teacups and ceramics formed using natural and coarse clay at first. Mixed with different styles of ancient and modern times, you can see the evolution and tradition of these kilns.

Although the tea cup is a bit small, it is beautifully made and authentic Japanese made.
Well packaged. Quick communication. Duty fees were extremely high but at not fault of the seller. Considering how hard it is to get this item it was worth it. Almost every other seller is sold out.
The gold foiling on the tea cup is beautiful, even after several washes. The colors are also vibrant.
I did have an issue with the tracking number not working then magically working again I have no idea what happened but the seller helped me resolve it.
Yes I'd buy from this Etsy merchant again.
i love this Japanese pottery!
