Kinkesshi Bronze Mino-yaki Kataguchi Chawan - Japanese Matcha Bowl

A matcha chawan designed for making and pouring matcha at the same time. Its round base is convenient for whisking matcha directly inside it. The sprout allows the user to hold the bowl and pour matcha without the risk of spilling. 

Minoware, or Mino-yaki 美濃焼 refers to Japanese pottery that was produced in Mino Province around the towns of Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kawagoei in Gifu Prefecture. Made using the soil of Gifu Prefecture, Minoyaki is the oldest pottery found in Japan and originated in the 7th century.
