Ido Chawan 井戸茶碗 also known as "well tea bowl" is the name given to a specific types of Joseon-era Korean rice bowls and pieces. They were originally made during the 16th century in Korea serving as simple bowls for food. It eventually made its way to Japan, where the tea masters made it into one of the most coveted matcha bowl styles.
Oribe-yaki 織部焼 is a style of Japanese pottery known for being decorated with abstract designs and splashes of free-flowing vibrant green or deep black glaze. Each piece is hand-formed to create a one of a kind shape. It first appeared in the sixteenth century.
