This Oribe-ware chawan (matcha bowl) features a beige and emerald jade green glaze paired with notes of brushstroke patterns. 

Oribe-yaki 織部焼 is a style of Japanese pottery known for being decorated with abstract designs and splashes of free-flowing vibrant green or deep black glaze. Each piece is hand-formed to create a one of a kind shape. It first appeared in the sixteenth century.
