The Kaiyu Sand Chawan is a unique Japanese matcha bowl that has a sand white finish and rustic rim. Its authentic appearance make it the perfect choice for traditional matcha ceremonies. 

Minoware, or Mino-yaki 美濃焼 refers to Japanese pottery that was produced in Mino Province around the towns of Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kawagoei in Gifu Prefecture. Made using the soil of Gifu Prefecture, Minoyaki is the oldest pottery found in Japan and originated in the 7th century.
